A daughter of Ch Barab Bronze Bucephalus and Ch Ezhar Rough Quest at Lyncris she represents the fifth generation of BARAB PHARAOHS and is line bred back to Ch Ezhar Early Mist at Barab, who in turn goes back to the breed record holder Ch Furnwood Argus through her dam Ch Furnwood Sondra of Ezhar, his litter sister.

Zephyr made a good start to her show career by taking the Bitch RCC at Crufts 2006. She followed this up with the Bitch CC and Reserve BIS at the PHC Championship Show in June of that year and the Bitch RCC at Leeds a month later. During 2006 Zephyr had only attended four Championship Shows but from these she won a Challenge Certificate and two RCCs.

My work commitments limited the number of Championship Shows that she was able to attend in 2007 and 2008. She was only shown once in 2008, but won her second CC at that show. This she did at Leeds, where she had won a RCC the previous year.  In 2009, at only her second Championship Show for that year, Zephyr returned to Leeds to take her crown by winning her third and qualifying CC. She is the seventh Barab Champion.
